It was a sad day for the streetwear community on May 31, 2011 with the passing of the great creative genius Jonas Bevacqua, co-founder of the brand L-R-G. At just 33 years young, the impact he made will forever have a lasting effect on the industry in which he helped grow and innovate.
This blog post is to truly show how one’s passion and determination can have such an impact on the world. Shortly before his passing we read this article which really helped restore our passion at a time where we were burning out with all the stresses that come with being an independent company. His words are inspiring, his style is all his own but best of all he is fuckin real and speaks from the heart. It’s people like this that give us faith in this industry of corporate pigs and money grabbers. We hope that this helps to inspire others to pursue their passions and follow their dreams like Jonas did. We like to do our own thing here at Stealth Society but his undying passion for his company and it’s products is something we definitely try to emulate in our journey as a brand.
